WHERE ARE THE CITY NAMES ON THE MAP ?

I DONT UNDERSTAND but on the z3 maps if u were on Bloomfield ave but Bloomfield ave went thru 6 towns and u have never been in any of them how would u know what town ur in if it dosen't tell u the town ur currently in ? just names of the st. ? :roll:

is there a way to make the city name also appear in the bottom with the street? help :?:

Apparently there is not way to make it display city names. It either is a bug in the software or a feature that does not exist on this unit.

someone needs to call pioneer and blast them i thought GPS fuction was to alwas let you know where u are at all times this unit for all this money its not worth it to me ?

if you hit the info button on the map screen it will show you the address of your current location, including the city you are in.

My mistake. The X series allows you to do this but apparently the Z does not.

yes, that sucks that it does not show the city that you are currently in...on mine, shows the name of the street then a slash then the direction you are going on that street ex: Los Angeles Ave. / W Los Angeles. Ave. that's a poor design...my Z1 had that ability...hope there is an update in the near future...
